Recently we traveled to Kansas to visit my son Cole and his family and made a visit to a flower farm that I have followed for a bit. We had such a wonderful time. The kindness and welcome feeling shown to us, even though they were preparing for 3 weddings that week, drove home what this flower farming world and family mean to me. During the hustle and bustle of the season it is easy to become burnt out and overwhelmed and a trip like this to reconnect with fellow growers who love the same things as you and share the same struggles helps. Thank you Lulabelle's Flower Farm for such a warm welcome and wonderful visit.💗

Hey guys!! It’s been a day or two since I’ve posted but boy is May a busy month for the flower farmer! Cold and then hot, dry and then wet. But. We keep trudging on. It has also been a fun month filled with flowers and wonderful people. More to come on that wrap up of May shortly. I hope all have a good weekend. I just included this pic. Happy Friday everyone and happy soon to be Mother’s Day! Good morning! Happy Saturday everyone! On this Saturday morning I want to introduce you to someone remarkable! My sister-n-law Janice Pacifico. In January Rick and I made a trip to New Mexico to visit with Rick’s brother and with Jan. This was a trip many years in the making and we had such a wonderful time! I fell in love with New Mexico and I just want to tell you George and Jan have the most amazing home. I have never felt so welcomed and the history and beauty in their home was unbelievable. I could write forever about it but I want you to meet Jan! I want you to see how amazing she is and then after that I am going to show you some of her wonderful pottery that I brought home with me from her studio in New Mexico.
