The day a Tulsa icon got another chance.

After years of sitting vacant, this Tulsa landmark could have disappeared like so many historic buildings before it. Instead, the Snyder family saw something worth saving.

They didn’t just restore a building. They preserved a piece of Tulsa.

18 years later, people are still walking through these doors. They’re getting married beneath the chandeliers, meeting for drinks, celebrating milestones, spending the night making new memories inside this hotel that has already held a century of them.

We’re pretty excited to see 1925 and The Mayo featured in the September issue of Southern Living!

Their “Livin’ on Tulsa Time” feature celebrates so many of the places that make Tulsa worth a visit — and we’re honored to be part of the story.

Even better, 1925 gets a beautiful opening-page moment. We might be a little biased, but we think they chose a pretty great place to start. 🤎
