Good Tuesday our fabulous friends! It's that time of year again. Our do's and don'ts for a successful Valentine's Day and a joy filled person that you love!
1. Order early. Everyone knows that person that called every shop in town on the 13th or 14th praying someone would have time to answer the phones and save them. Then you end up with the convenience store flowers that are crusty and wilted.
2. Order local. There are innumerable online companies pretending to be a local shop. They advertise prices that look like a bargain, hit you at the end with intolerable fees that wash out your "bargain" then beg local shops to deliver on the promise they made you at a loss to the store fulfilling the order. Also, here's a secret they don't tell you, the shops local orders are always first priority at the expense of orders that come thru outside sources.
3. Knowledge is power. Tell your florist what your person likes and doesn't like so we don't accidently send her a bouquet that looks super traditional when she wants fun and funky or the other way around.
4. This is a biggie! Valentine's day is on Saturday this year. Your love still wants flowers sent to the office. Delivery on Wednesday or Thursday means you set the bar for all of the other significant others to live up to. Be the one who dates the one that everyone else is jealous of. (Also, significantly, your florist will love you for it!)
5. Be flexible. If you aren't looking for something super specific order a Designer's Choice. We have a shop filled with fabulous flowers that we're dying to use and want to flex our awesome design skills.
6. My personal favorite DO. Click the link and order from your friends and neighbors at the Tulsa Blossom Shoppe.
