Oklahoma weather is all over the place and as a wedding coordinator I sweat the most when it comes to making a rain plan call but man oh man was this night one to remember! Almost this time last year I was setting up for Sara & Sean’s wedding day and I hear storms rolling in. And then it’s pouring down as the sweet florist was decorating the outdoor arbor. Oh my gosh. We held off for a little bit and then when it was just a sprinkle they said let’s do it! I’ll post those amazing rain photos soon! Midway through the reception the sun came glowing out of nowhere and I made a quick decision and changed up the timeline to get them outside for photos without sacrificing guest experience!! Their amazing photographer was all for it and obviously captured fantastic photos!

Truly a one of a kind day!!!

Sometimes Oklahoma weather can be easy and predictable for your wedding day. And other times it’s torrential downpour and then the rain fades and leaves behind the most gorgeous sunset ever! Oklahoma can show off 💞

It’s June which was Sara & Sean’s wedding month and almost their anniversary!!!

Being their wedding coordinator was a joy! Helping them manage the weather calls and umbrellas and guest experience and all the things. Then to notice the sun setting and say we have to go outside for pics!!!!! Haha. It was all so great!

Being your wedding coordinator means sneaking in sunset pics when we thought it would have been storming!!! Building out a timeline with gaps in particular spots allows for this last minute shift to happen without anyone feeling behind. Plus- who can say no to this light!?
