Flower Scout is a burgeoning farm in Troy, NY, specializing in natural and creative floral design. We do weddings, dinner parties, ad-hoc bouquets and wreaths, flower crowns, and pretty much anything you want.

Endless heaps of gratitude to Margot & John and their incredible families for the opportunity to really go big on a tomato girl summer dreamscape this past August in the Berkshires. And for the bites of caviar and potato chips, thank you forever. Also BIG bows of admiration to Bethany who held so many moving and brilliant parts together. New friend and creative inspiration hung out with us for a few hours on a hot July evening and captured this part of my life that I couldn’t be more grateful for — this magical kid and everything I get to be when I’m with her. Plus we got some cool shots of Stewarts and our little South Troy friend family, too. Thank you so much, Kate, I’m going to treasure these forever. OH AND IT’S NATIONAL DAUGHTER DAY so there you have it. Blessings abound.

Jack & Hanna at Gather Greene last year (shhh, my favorite wedding dress of 2024) had this to say about working with Flower Scout: “We provided a little bit of guidance, but wanted to be pretty hands-off and let Colie do her thing. The end result was better than we could’ve imagined! The majority of the flowers we use come from local farms, secret woodland forage spots, and from the Flower Scout garden, also in Troy, which supplies bouquets for a 20-member summer CSA and special orders.
