I’m writing a lot of proposals for next year, this week, and feeling a little reflective about all the weddings we’ve flowered over the last twelve years. I’m proud of them all! Spring is here and we’ll find out together what shape it takes this time / Last year, in early May, we held a very Eric Rohmer-coded (goals goals goals) photo shoot and snack time at the farm, using my dishes and tablecloths and flowers we grew — and the energy of that particular spring day in which we found a stinky dead groundhog in the orchard and someone crashed their car right behind us and the weather was a perfect dream.
