your wedding day moves FAST — make sure you have a photographer that takes the time (& is given the time) to document ALL of the details from your day! 🌸
it’s always a lil’ shot to the gut when we receive a gallery back that has 2, maybe 3 images of your reception decor, the hand picked table linens, your thoughtfully curated menu cards, etc.
we talk through your mood boards and overall visions at length when leading up to the big day — we KNOW these details are important to you!! i mean if they weren’t, why would you book us?
we LOVE the photographers we work with, and often times it’s not their fault that the details were bypassed! if you’re a couple that values the little details that make up your day, make sure you share that with your photo and video teams!! if you come to them with a shot list up the w***o, scheduling out every second of your 8 hour package, listing every single person at your wedding that you want a picture with & don’t give them the liberty to go off & create — then often times these details can fall by the wayside!! the decor won’t get captured, the candids won’t be snapped.
all that to say, the conversations & meetings had pre-wedding day are SOO important! it’s important that you express your desires to your vendors while ALSO trusting their professionalism and talents to deliver a job well done!
