It’s been one heck of a season at Mertle’s Mudbugs ❤️🦞🐢

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who came out this year — whether you’ve supported us since day one or were trying us for the first time. It was amazing meeting new faces, seeing familiar ones, and getting to talk with all of y’all along the way.

Standing on your own is always scary. There’s always that fear of failing and wondering if people will support your vision. If you would’ve asked me six years ago, I never would’ve imagined coming this far. We’re always growing and learning every step of the way, and this season taught us more than ever before.

A huge thank you to my friends and family who have worked by my side since day one. From the long hours to the crazy weekends, none of this would’ve been possible without y’all.

And thank you to Crawfish Nick Seafood for always taking care of me over the years.

We’re already excited for next season — more seating, extended days and hours, and even bigger plans ahead.

Now it’s time for Mertle to retreat back into her shell for a little while until next season… probably dreaming about crawfish 24/7 😂

Thank you again for believing in Mertle’s Mudbugs. We appreciate every single one of y’all 🦞❤️🐢

Big surprise getting to serve the last customers of the season —Social Drinkers Crawfish🍻 Along with South Texas Tails and Rock N Cajun, y’all truly made our day. We’ve supported and cheered each other on from the very beginning, and it means more than y’all know 🦞❤️🐢

What started as a small dream has turned into something bigger than I ever imagined, and we truly couldn’t have done it without every single person that showed up, shared a post, stood in line, laughed with us, and supported us this season.

To everyone that called yesterday and today and left messages about coming to our location, I apologize for not getting back to everyone in a timely manner. We always try our best to keep everyone updated on our social media regarding hours and closures.

Moving forward, Mertle will always be at the home location, and we truly appreciate everyone’s continued support

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us yesterday and support Mertle’s Mudbugs ❤️🦞

From 7th in 2024, to 4th in 2025, to 33rd in 2026 — every year has been a memory and we’ve had fun through it all. At the end of the day, we truly love making people happy, serving great crawfish, and spending time with this amazing community.

We are CLOSED today as Mertle’s heart and presence head back to the home location going forward.

We can’t wait to see everyone for our final weekend of the season on May 30 & 31! 🦞❤️🐢
