It truly saddens me to even have to make this statement.

I would like to start off by saying that safety is the number one priority for not only the guests that attend events at Fountain Hall, as well as my staff. We have a zero tolerance for any violence or disruptive behavior.

On May 23rd, 2026 at about 8:45pm, I made the decision that I was not letting any more people in. Attendance exceeded the venues intended capacity. I was also made aware that there was a social media post pertaining to an “open invite”. I specifically make it very clear to everyone who books any type of birthday party or wedding to not post an “open invite” on social media. We truly strive for every event to be seamless, safe, and a positive experience.

Once the decision was made to not let any more people inside, some kids left. Other kids—about 30 or 40 teens refused to leave the parking lot. The parents that hosted the party even made an announcement that the teens in the parking lot needed to leave. The teens were given multiple warnings to leave peacefully but instead specifically stated “we’re not leaving, call the cops”. So, I did. The Racine County Sheriffs arrived and removed the kids that were outside. The Sheriffs also conducted a walk through of the entire premises, inside and out. They stayed on site for about an hour. Once the Sheriff’s left, about 10-15 mins later is when the fights occurred. The police were called immediately at approximately 10:03pm. The security guards disbanded the original fight, and then continued to break up multiple other fights between various groups of teenagers. Some adults were fighting as well. Racine County Sheriffs also continued to deescalate the situation, removing everyone off of the property and surrounding areas safely.

Moving forward, Fountain Hall will be making multiple changes to how events are handled to ensure the safety of everyone involved. We are taking this situation very seriously and are carefully reviewing what happened to better serve our clients and keep everyone safe. We truly apologize to anyone that was harmed on Saturday. We will also be providing the Racine County Sheriffs with any information they need. We strongly encourage people to come forward if you have names of any of the individuals involved so they can be held accountable.

Parents: we need your help! I’m going to be brutally honest—the level of disrespect that I see from your teenagers almost every weekend is absolutely unacceptable and atrocious. I have been doing this for 19 years and lately, these kids are worse than ever before. I get it—we were all young once, right? However, besides va**ng, drugs, and alcohol, these kids have zero respect for authority, a total disregard of rules and a lack of any accountability for their actions. Let me be very clear—not all of the teenagers act this way. Sadly, a lot of them do.

As a community, we need to do better! What happened to one of the core values being to respect your elders? Respect for other people? Integrity?

If safety concerns continue to escalate—we may have to add additional security measures such as screening for weapons, searches, and pat downs for everyone in attendance. But this is my point—it shouldn’t have to be like this! Us as a community should be able to come together, celebrate and have a good time. We shouldn’t have to worry about if our kids are coming home. We should have been celebrating this young girl’s 15th birthday—a traditionally very important moment for her that was ruined by her own peers.

I am truly heartbroken by this situation. We will continue to try to serve our community and provide memorable moments for you and your loved ones. We just need your help.

We hope that everyone has a safe and happy Memorial Day.
