Circa Oct 2025 - Is that a T-Rex or Velociraptor? I'll tell you in a moment.

It's sundown on a Sunday evening and 400 plus kids and parents attended the annual Halloween carnival. The private school dished out tons of prizes for the parents....and also for the kids. (The parents pay thousands in tuition). That was the secret to getting all the parents to show up I think.

Mr Dj Services was on hand with a total of 6 speakers spread out throughout the outdoor floor plan.

In this picture is the very moment we did group dances for the kids as well as the Princesses, Goblins, Ghosts, Superheros and the extinct creatures known as the Dinosaurs.

The dj services provided did not include the photo booth or the karaoke. Instead the private school swapped the booth and karaoke for extra speakers and wiring to optimize the raffle, announcements and staff rotations. Even doing all that extra speaker stuff, it was still hard to hear. Plenty of carnival type games and stuff to keep everybody occupied.

At one point The Dj, me, had to make a missing person announcement. Apparently one of the adults was having so much fun that her daughter had me make an announcement.

Seriously, it went like this. "Attention, Attention..may I please have your urgent attention...I have a young girl who's Mom is missing; she is dressed as a banana, if u see her, send to Dj booth"

It was a full on Carnival with a trick-o-treat twist.

The dinosaur was a T-Rex.

Circa June 2025 - Why are 2 grownups hogging the dance floor? I'll tell you in a moment.

Mr Dj Services was on hand with the Bat Mitzvah "Dj 4 kids & karaoke" package. The event was held at the Elemento Dance Academy in Culver City, CA.

This venue is a perfect example of clients scouring the internet for a place to host a party. To find the secure, clean yet affordable, takes a little searching on the internet. You see these venues, like the Elemento, advertise on special websites like 'Peerspace'. Now that's NOT a household name like Google; that's the secret.

You see our Dj Services take up a good chunk of the budget, as it should :-). Customers rehire us by finding the cheapest venue with plain walls or dull interior. Insert our dj services and our full lighting, which is included in the packaging, will turn event the most boring venues into an eye-appealing experience.

This party was actually a scaled down 'Bat-Mitzvah" (girl). It included karaoke, a selfie-station for shareable pics, Dj party dance music and 2 professional hip hop dancers. Here they are in the picture leading the dancing. During the 30 minutes of the event, the mom's couldn't help themselves and joined in on the dancing as the paired dancers taught all the dance moves for each song.

Also, anytime the kids would sing karaoke, the paired dancers were synchronized behind the singers. It was pretty cool!

Circa Dec 2017 - What song are they singing? I'll tell you in a moment.

Mr Dj Services was on hand for a repeat client and Commercial Acting Guru, Killian from 'Killian's Workshop! Mr Killian had so much fun from his studio party he decided to rent the entire Historic Avalon room. He invited every client and associate he knew.

The main room was a Dj and a band with breaks for announcements and toasts etc. He popped the question to his love as well.

Mr Dj Services did not have the photo booth add-on feature implemented yet with our packages however, we had our hands full because we were in the upper room. With distance and stairs for the load-in, having less equipment actually worked out for us.

The room we were in was packed with about 150 guests screaming and begging to get 'cuts' in line. Some people tried bribing me with a $1 bill. Hahaha..$1? I actually don't except tips; I prefer the guests bribe me with choosing a fun/dance-able song to sing. Seriously, it's a party and not American Idol; let's keep the energy high, okay?

You can't see all the people in the picture but all the guests are to the left and right of me including a little dip from where I took the photo.

The song they are singing is 'Baby Got Back' by Sir Mix-A-Lot.

Circa March 2025 - What song are they Singing AND Dancing to? I'll tell you in a moment.

Mr Dj Services was on hand for a very Special Celebration. It was Matt's 25th and his entourage of friends was huge.

The Dj service we provided included a photo booth and a day before arrival to set up most of the equipment.

About 50 of Matt's friends showed up with the "Coming in Hot" mentality. They took a 30 minute break to eat and then instead of going back to karaoke they did all the popular group dances. Probably because singing on a full stomach was too much.

They drank a little but sang and danced a ton. The private residence was spacious with an outdoor patio which allowed for the cool breezes but with heat lamps to balance out the vibe.

The song they are singing and dancing to is 'Hit the Floor'.

Circa Mar 2025 - Is that our Dj? Dressed as Spiderman? I'll tell you in a moment.

Mr Dj Services was on hand for a 5 year old birthday party held at the 'By Your Side Dance Studio' in Santa Monica, Ca.

It was a super busy day so we had to set most of the Dj equipment up the night before since the facility would only let us in 1 hour before the event start time. (NOTE: if you are viewing this post on 'LINKEDIN' only the primary photo will appear)

Our 'Dj 4 kids Party' package includes a DJ/MC, photo booth, games, group dances & character performances like Spiderman...Spiderman....SPIDERMAN! oh, sorry. So I was saying about all the equipment needed would need a 3 hour set up hence the night before to do so.

To keep kids busy from the start the first 20 minutes is for crafty stuff like playing with glue and bling for a fake microphone. It's great because the kids are familiar with glue like I was as a kid except I use to eat it; sometimes. The fake microphone is decorated by the kids with bling and they have a time limit.

Boom! The kids are ushered out to the dance floor to join Spiderman.....Spiderman...SPIDERMAN!!

The 2.5 hr package accommodates interaction with Disney/Marvel staff and the music & games that comes from the dj services.

This particular Spiderman was from a 3rd party vendor.
