When we first sit down to talk about design, the goal is to answer the question “how do you like to gather?” Are you hosting at home or meeting friends at the latest hot spot? Do cook together or order carry-out? Do you have a stocked bar cart for crafting fun cocktails?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ultimately, how they wine & dine shapes how they spend quality time with others. This goes beyond the items on a dinner menu, the signature cocktails on the bar, the wine served at dinner. It’s about creating a customized lens of hospitality for which the event is built and executed.

As we have officially shifted from wedding ex*****on mode to deep diving into design for next year's festivities, I am learning to embrace quiet, slower mornings (key word - learning). ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​This morning, I found myself reflecting on a cozy wedding weekend in the mountains for Clare and Billy. As the bride said herself, "our wedding wasn’t what we had planned but it’s exactly what we always wanted."

Looking at these frames, I see joyful abundance, beautiful vulnerability, irrevocable love, and a testament to the words of our friend Dave Matthews, "turns out, not where, but who you're with that really matters."

As the seasons change from summer to fall, I can’t help but pause for a moment of reflection (while soaking up the fast and fleeting ideal patio weather).

It’s this time of year I find myself looking back on moments that challenged me, adversity that ignited growth, and the inexplicable joy that always prevailed.

This week will mark another trip around the sun; a trip marked by connecting deeper, living fuller, and loving more intentionally. My presence in the social media sphere was smaller, but my presence with the people and things that matter most was bigger than ever.

We are still creating magic, still loving on our clients and vendors with our whole hearts, and still dreaming big dreams. But this year has been the year for leaning into those things fully...and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

After a spur of the moment (solo) getaway, I feel more ready than ever for the sweet summer season and all she has to bring with her sunny rays and long days.

I am not just talking about the big days on the calendar, but the in betweens. The last minute patio hangs, early morning walks in the park (while most likely having a phone date with ), poolside chats at sunset, and summer happy hours that turn into summer nights…all sharing the same simple foundation. Connection.
