Prospect Out Hrr Official Biography
Oftentimes, beauty is shrouded in darkness; a zealous light overshadowed by chaos and confusion. The things they say are infectious, violent impulses of passion that rivet through the veins of listeners and into their hearts. Amongst these storytellers, pushing through the midst of a pandemic, is Prospect Out Hrr, a visionary emcee and creative with a story to
tell. Louis, MO, Prospect’s city was more than the gateway to the Midwest, it was a gateway to his creativity. Growing up he bounced around through different environments that taught him at an early age to adapt to different places and things. A foreshadow to his creative career, Prospect became a chameleon of sorts to survive. Around 17, Prospect started rapping with his friends and homies from his neighborhood. He’d always had a way with words and had a good memory for holding on to lyrics. Eventually he started taking his craft more seriously; creating full length songs and venturing out into the St. The city reacted and Prospect’s buzz as a poet began to grow. But his heart was still rooted in music, leading him to release a string of mixtapes including The 16th Letter (2002), Chip On My Shoulder (2004), and It’s On The Way (2006). And with the release of more content and the attraction of more fans, his brand started to evolve. In 2016, Prospect started DJing after he’d hired a DJ for a performance and they didn’t show up. What began as a means to an end blossomed into a lucrative opportunity and allowed him to turn the tables at events like the Cinco De Mayo Festival, Juneteenth Celebration, and Art & Soul Live Exhibit 2019. DJing created a new source of fanship for Prospect and, in 2009, he created Out Hrr Events. An artistic events company, Out Hrr provides hosting services for influential, public performances in St. Louis and throughout the Midwest. Yet music still beckoned him like an angel of the night and between 2018 and 2020 he released 8 more mixtapes, each one representing a different place he was at in life and in creativity. In 2020, Prospect released his single Clout Chasing featuring IBenAGod and Bates, a high energy record from his upcoming 2021 debut album No Direction. After years of scattered releases and moving performances, No Direction is a real and raw formal introduction of Prospect Out Hrr to the masses and everything that comes along with him. The brand strategy of Prospect Out Hrr is to release a steady stream of consumer driven content leading up to the release of his debut album, No Direction, in 2021. A 10-track project,
catering to the dreamers and the explorers of life, No Direction is poised to shift the tide of Midwest independent Hip Hop artists and set a new tone for a new direction. Seasoned in his talents, Prospect Out Hrr is as credible as any other rising artist. The only difference is that he is tenured, rooted in the musical history of his city and praised among underground kings. Passion driven and unashamed, Prospect’s ascent is one that is long awaited and a first step towards change and clarity in Hip Hop.
