Last year, VoyageSTL reached out to feature me in their Conversations series. It was an honor, but at that time I was still on a break from DJing and content creation. Truth be told, I wasn’t in the space to celebrate or share my story publicly—it didn’t feel timely. So, the article went live, but I stayed quiet and never shared it.
Fast forward to last week: VoyageSTL circled back for a follow-up interview. This time, the timing felt different. I’m re-engaged with my purpose with fresh energy. I've began releasing mashups, building community, and pushing forward with purpose.
Here’s the lesson I’m carrying forward:
👉🏾 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲. 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. The first interview was a snapshot of me in transition. The follow-up (dropping soon) captures where I’m headed now.
