Celebrated E + T this past weekend! Before the big day, The bride asked friends and family to share pictures that represented love. With their help, the dessert room/Sophia Room was decorated with love from all walks of time. It was a beautiful thing to see and experience.

I can't pinpoint my favorite part from yesterdays wedding.

The butterflies before a traditional first look down the aisle, the Cathedral's marvelous interior, the bridal blue accents, the kilts and the axe cake cutters!?!?! Ah- they were all a part of what made yesterday sublime.

I have had many privileges to work with couples who are mixed culture and/or religion.

And planning these types of events is NOT easy. No sir. Compromises take time. And when culture/religion is a priority… decisions are not always up to the hosts who hire me.

But when these compromises are made.. they are quite emotional because of how meaningful it is.

For this particular wedding, I worked a Jewish bride and a Catholic groom. M spent hours building a chuppah for his beloved. Part of their chuppah, will be used for their forever home.

E + M’s story will always stay with me. Their love and consideration for one another is undeniable. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such an important day.

When family loudly sing to celebrate your love story... you know confidently you found that one person in this life who will protect your heart and serve as your forever home wherever you may go.

Congratulations A + E! Being in the room with your family + closest friends was truly magic. I don't think I'll be alone when I say I'll won’t ever forget it. It's one of those weddings people talk about for a long time.
