Thank you to all the fantastic students who attended both dances this year! You were polite, classy, funny, confident, and super fun! It’s a good dance when there are no behavior issues all night either night- it’s a GREAT dance when the chaperones have just as much fun as the kids. You even humored my snowflake 3D glasses stunt! 🤣

Thank you to our 417 homeschool parent community for raising the best of the best and blessing our dance with your fabulous kiddos!

Shout out to the humorous artist from
Fri Snowball this year!! 🤣🤣 I DID say in the rules I sent out: “No weapons allowed-this includes guns, knives, swords, brass knuckles, throwing stars, Chuck Norris— the only dangerous thing allowed is your dance moves and my Buffalo chicken dip. “ Found the artwork in the boys’ bathroom. Well played, jokester, well played. 🤣🤣

It’s the final count down!!

In 1619, after looking up and seeing the night sky streaked with green and purple light, Galileo Galilei coined the term “Aurora Borealis” after the Roman goddess of dawn, Aurora, and Boreas, the Greek god of the north wind. But Galileo was hardly the first human to marvel at the Northern Lights. In 567 BC, a royal astronomer working for Babylon’s King Nebuchadnezzar II inscribed his report of the aurora on a stone tablet. It would take until the 20th century for scientists to figure out what causes the aurora, but many mysteries about the phenomena remain……
