My oldest daughter snapped this picture just after I picked this beautiful jar of narcissus, and right before I inspected the tulip bed to see why most of the tulips hadn't come up.
A closer look revealed that something, or somethings 🐭🐭🐭, used my bulbs to make it through the winter. Even the tulips that appeared to have come up were actually chewed off low on the stem and were just stems being supported upright by the dirt that surrounded them. 🤦🏻♀️
Last year I planted in a totally different side of our large yard and didn't have any trouble.
Needless to say, I am feeling less than chipper this evening! 💔
And a most honest report would include that I don't know where this is all going. I am seeking God's face for direction and struggling to divide myself into enough small pieces to keep everything going right now.
This is not to say that I am calling it quits, but it is to share that I haven't a clue what to tell you all to expect because I don't even know, myself. Please, include me in your prayers, as I search for a road map on this journey.
And thank you all for following along and cheering me on the way that you have!
