Some people are already thinking about Christmas. 🎄
Some people say, “Not until after Halloween!” 🎃
Others refuse to even THINK about Christmas until the Thanksgiving dishes are put away. 🦃
And then there are those special people who would leave the Christmas tree up all year if their family would let them. 😂
So we want to know…
🎄 When does Christmas officially start at YOUR house?

🎄 December 1st
🎅 OR… Christmas never really ends!

Santa Spotlight!
This week we’re heading to Northern Utah to introduce you to another wonderful pair from our Utah Santa community — Santa Darin & Mrs. Claus!
For the past five years, Santa Darin and Mrs. Claus have been sharing Christmas magic with families throughout Logan, Northern Utah, and the surrounding communities.
And for these two, Christmas really does begin with family. ❤️
They are the proud parents of nine children and 22 grandchildren! Some of their favorite Christmas traditions aren't complicated at all — walking through the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights, gathering around a warm fire, and enjoying hot chocolate together.
But Santa Darin shared something about portraying Santa that we especially loved:
🎅 Anyone can put on the red suit and look like Santa. Being Santa is something different.
To him, Santa represents warmth, kindness, love, joy, and wonder. When a child looks up and their eyes suddenly light up because Santa is really standing there, that is the moment the person wearing the suit has to become the Santa that child believes in.
✨ That is where the magic happens.
Over the years, Santa Darin & Mrs. Claus have appeared at private family visits, corporate and church Christmas parties, community celebrations, parades, tree lightings, Christmas photo sessions and other special holiday events.
You may have even spotted them at the Swiss Days Parade in Midway, representing Kringle’s year-round Christmas store — or caught Santa Darin in the YouTube music video “Santa Knew.” 🎶🎅

Santa Spotlight!!
🎅✨ SANTA SPOTLIGHT MEET SANTA J ✨🎅
Sometimes becoming Santa starts with a lifelong dream.
And sometimes…it starts with a phone call from your daughter-in-law. ❤️
Five years ago, Santa J was asked to fill in for a Santa who couldn’t make it to a Special Education classroom. There was just one problem:
He had never been Santa before.
He rented a suit, walked into that classroom with his heart pounding…and something happened.
The hugs started coming.
The smiles appeared.
The cameras came out.
And somewhere in the middle of it all, Santa J discovered something he didn’t even know he was looking for.
Today, he brings Christmas magic throughout Utah County, Salt Lake County, Heber Valley, Juab County and beyond. But ask him what he loves most, and it isn’t the suit or the sleigh.
It’s the conversations.
The little ones who lean in close to tell Santa about a new puppy. The baseball game they won. Their favorite toy. Or something they’re excited about that only Santa needs to know.
And sometimes, for just a moment, Santa gets to tease the grown-ups too — and watch a 30-year-old become eight years old again. 🎄
When he isn’t wearing red, Santa J has spent more than 30 years working in the HVAC and energy-efficiency industry. He understands buildings, mechanical systems and how to keep people warm.
Which seems pretty appropriate for a Santa. 😉
His favorite Christmas tradition is simple: getting the family together. As the years have passed, he says he’s realized Christmas isn’t really about what’s underneath the tree.
It’s about who’s gathered around it.
And maybe that explains Santa J better than anything else.
He didn’t choose Santa because he wanted to be Santa.
He became Santa because someone needed him.
And somewhere along the way, he discovered that maybe he needed Santa too. ❤️🎅

🎄🍪 Christmas just tastes different, doesn’t it? ❤️
Every family seems to have that one food that means Christmas is here.
Maybe it’s Grandma’s cookies that only get made once a year.
A pan of cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning.
Homemade fudge cooling on the counter.
A special pie, candy, or Christmas dinner that’s been part of the family for generations.
At the North Pole, Mrs. Claus has been busy in the kitchen—and Santa seems to keep finding reasons to “check on things.” 😂🎅
So today we want to hear about your Christmas table.
