Spring Farm has officially sold, and we are feeling all the feelings… sadness as we say goodbye & reflect on the journey of creating this place. But also excitement for this darling new family that will be taking the helm and continuing what we started. Hooray for new chapters!
Let me introduce the new owners! We can not think of a better fit…. Mike and Erin Allen will be wonderful stewards of this very special place. From the moment we met, I could see that they were in connection with the farm and with the community of Spring City. And they will continue to open their doors and share this special place with others - through weddings & events, through vacation rentals, and even hosting their own retreats (they are both yoga instructors!) Stay tuned as they roll out their plans here on this account. I will let them introduce themselves in the coming posts, and look forward to see what they have in store for the farm.
As for us, we are still around. Spring City is not rid of us yet! My sister Holly & Brent are still running Hollyhock House on Main Street, Becca & Pete are turning to greener pastures in the UK, and Steve and I will be restoring the Stone Cottage (the oldest stone home in town, built in 1860!) just around the corner. If you want to follow the progress, or just keep in touch, you can find us at .little.stone.cottage
We want to thank everyone who has been a part our journey here at Spring Farm. What started out as a gathering place for our family, turned into a magical place that we could share with many of you during pivotal moments of your lives. What a privilege it has been. From the lavender festivals to meditation retreats, from private weddings to craft markets, from family gatherings to art auctions in the barn… we have loved having so many of you experience the magic of the farm. Thank you for being a part of our story.
