THIS!!! This is what The Collab is about!!

In 2016, we took a huge risk. With my husband’s support, we took out $75k in lines of credit so that I could chase my dream of owning a gym.

Long story short, we failed. And we failed HARD.

Here are some things I learned:

1️⃣ Find a NEED. Copy cat businesses are significantly more likely to fail because the need is already filled. What is your community missing?

2️⃣ When you turn your passion into a business, you’re very likely going to work that passion less, not more. Your time becomes dedicated to marketing, bill paying, people wrangling, problem solving, etc.

3️⃣ Great at cooking? That’s not enough to open a restaurant. Fabulous fitness coach? It doesn’t mean you should open a gym. Consider your skill set and if it’s a fit to manage a business.

4️⃣ IT’S ALL ABOUT THE OVERHEAD.
