When people ask if I have a team, I always reply yes with a smile, and then follow it up by saying, “It’s my family.” The truth of the matter is, I simply wouldn’t have it any other way.
Growing up, my parents had a saying for all of us: “You can be anything you want to be, if you want it bad enough.” I don’t think when they preached that into my brain they also expected that we’d be traveling 3 hours to create an arch that, in total, was 30 ft. However, that we’d always stick together and do life as a family—that I know was always their hope.
I’m incredibly lucky to have the support I do, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t show my appreciation. Thanks for never telling me no (when it’s business related), letting me live the dream under your roof, and letting your youngest daughter and little sister boss you around.
I couldn’t imagine it any other way, and I know the monarch that flew in front of us while taking the family picture is a sure sign we’ve done things the right way—like a family should. 🦋🫶🏻
