These are lyrics from Got Me off . Boogie Bane, formerly known as Ace (while part of the group ) recorded this album all from a jail 📞.

We planned to release this strictly on securus, but ran into issues finding a reliable digital distributor. Now it’s available on all streaming platforms! 🤷🏿‍♂️

8 & 16 are produced by yours truly . All the other songs are produced by Mike D. He also mixed & recorded everything at . He literally crafted each beat to Ace’s voice. 🤯

When I think of the lyrics above, I think about MD. An actual boss that has helped too many folks eat to list.

This project is a hard listen considering the content & circumstances of Boogie Bane’s sentence. He clearly is still talented. Rapping through the wire to a metronome ain’t easy. If you give it a listen, let us know your thoughts.

I know says, “Twon Beatbox while we talk about Hip-Hop,” but that was before I got tapped in. 🤷🏿‍♂️ Honestly, that was before was even a thing. Aluzjun was really holdin it down for years! By the time their 2nd album was bein created, I managed to get multiple bangers on it & one of those came out on . 🙌🏿

I imagine if their 2nd album came out, life would be very different right now… 😮‍💨

We’re grateful is stayin busy & releasin these classics for streaming cause how many of us manage our CD collections anymore? 🤔

Honestly, the math 🧮 would suggest I was 13 when this was released, but I feel like we recorded when I was 12, which would be 1/3 of my age now. 😨

All that to say, in all these years I’ve yet to consider myself a singer & the first thing I ever did in the studio [this] was w/ me singin. 🧐

No matter what has happened thus far. I want to play more & have fun w/ music. I hope y’all enjoy this blast from the past.
