Remembering that time one year ago this month that Parkview became a pop-up gym!

In September 2025, House of Afro took over our 3rd floor to host an Afro fitness event and vendor market that filled the whole room!

We love to see creative uses of our event space that bring people together for a great cause.

Dinner and dancing surrounded by warm wood tones, soft light, and Denny Park treetops.

Anita and Ben’s reception in the Sanctuary felt modern without feeling stark. White linens, soft blue details, pale blue taper candles, sculptural florals, and the green views outside created a calm, scenic backdrop for the evening.

The space gave the wedding room for dinner, traditions, dancing, food stations, and late-night moments without losing its sense of flow.

The Sanctuary supports wedding receptions with a flexible floor plan, built-in A/V, a full-size screen, natural daylight, blackout shades, and space for dinner, dancing, toasts, food stations, and reception traditions. It is a polished room that still feels warm and welcoming.

4 PM - 6 PM: South Lake Union Chamber networking event on the Rooftop.
6 PM - 11 PM: Parents’ Night Out - free childcare!

Come bounce with us! Both kids and kids-at-heart can bounce in the bounce house.
(Limited hours – be sure to come right at 11.)

BONUS: That same evening, 6-10pm, we’re hosting a Parents’ Night Out so that young parents can enjoy the Block Party’s fun bands and other entertainment.

(Our Staff and Volunteers have all completed the child safety training certification, and we are also insured.)

Now featured on our blog! Anita & Ben’s gorgeous multicultural wedding 🩵

Anita and Ben’s celebration moved through Parkview with intention, from private vows in the Meditation Hall to a rooftop terrace ceremony surrounded by Denny Park treetops, and finally, to dinner and dancing in the Sanctuary.

Their day included sushi, dim sum, late-night ramen, soft serve, ube cake, a money dance, bubble guns, bride-and-groom Pikachus, and a LABUBU toss - with every detail feeling specific to them.

Parkview’s flexible layout and open vendor list helped each part of the day feel custom, while still keeping the guest experience smooth.
