🌿 In uncertain times, we all need a place to put down roots and grow together. This summer, Rooted Together invites you to explore a vibrant tapestry of creativity at Path With Art’s Summer Visions Exhibition—opening July 17 at Seattle Center.

From rich collages and delicate embroidery to powerful figure drawings and expressive masks, this show highlights the courage and voices of artists who found inspiration in nature’s cycles and the strength of community. Each piece tells a story of reflection, renewal, and connection, reminding us that kindness and creativity help us all flourish.

After the screening, join a fireside conversation with Ken Burns, co-director David Schmidt, and historian Alan Taylor, moderated by The Atlantic’s Vann R. Newkirk. Hear firsthand about the making of the series and the stories of the diverse individuals who lived through this pivotal time, from soldiers and political leaders to everyday people whose lives were forever changed.

Dynamic K-pop group, fromis_9 (프로미스나인) will be at McCaw Hall at Seattle Center on their 2025 fromis_9 WORLD TOUR [NOW TOMORROW.] IN USA on Monday, September 8th at 7:30pm PT.

Known for their infectious energy and vibrant performances, the five fromis_9 members are: Song Ha-young, Park Ji-won, Lee Chae-young, Lee Na-gyung, and Baek Ji-heon. The group is promoting their sixth mini album 'From Our 20's.'

Polish Festival Seattle is July 12: 12pm-7pm at the Armory Food & Event Hall + Mural Amphitheatre. The festival is part of the Festál series. It is free and open to the public.

This year, the festival celebrates the 1000th anniversary of the first Polish King's Coronation with the theme of “Polish Legends and Castles”. Enjoy live performances, exhibits and workshops, a marketplace, cuisine, and more!

The festival is produced in partnership with Seattle Polish Foundation and Polish Home Association, organizations that provide a place for Polish Americans to explore their heritage, share understanding, and build community.

✨ What a powerful and joyful 4th of July at Seattle Center!
We were honored to host the 40th Annual Naturalization Ceremony at Fisher Pavilion in partnership with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, where more than 500 new U.S. citizens took the Oath of Citizenship.

It was a day filled with pride, celebration, and heartfelt moments—thank you to all who joined us in welcoming our newest fellow Americans. 💙🤍❤️

🎉 A Historic Day for Memorial Stadium

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Memorial Stadium Groundbreaking Ceremony yesterday morning.

From ceremonial blessings and heartfelt remarks in honor of the 762 Seattle high-school students and alumni who lost their lives in World War ll whose names are inscribed on Memorial Wall, the event was filled with gratitude, community pride, and big dreams for the future.

A big thank you to Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, Seattle Public Schools, the One Roof Stadium Partnership, tribal leaders, veterans’ group representatives students, and community partners who helped us kick off the exciting transformation of Memorial Stadium yesterday morning.

Together, we’re building a stadium that honors the past and inspires the future.

A big thank you to Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, Seattle Public Schools, the One Roof Stadium Partnership, veterans’ group representatives, tribal leaders, students, and community partners who helped us kick off this exciting transformation.

The new Memorial Stadium will continue to be a cornerstone of community, education, sports, and culture in Seattle.

Today, Bloomberg Philanthropies announced that Seattle is one of 50 finalists of the 2025 Mayors Challenge.

Seattle Center is the lead site for an innovative, cross-department project to pioneer circular waste systems for public spaces that will receive funding and support.

Seattle Center draws more than 12 million visitors a year and hosts some of the city’s largest events — from Bite of Seattle to the 2026 Seattle Soccer Fan Celebration hosted at the Seattle Center. This initiative aims to dramatically reduce event-related waste and model sustainable practices for major civic spaces across Seattle and beyond.

Congratulations to the many partners across City departments and cultural organizations who contributed to this visionary proposal, and thank you to Bloomberg Philanthropies for supporting Seattle’s efforts to advance environmental leadership and public benefit.
