Wanted to share that I'll be taking a break from Allison Dee Calligraphy for the time being. I have loved this little side gig but it's just not working for this season of life right now. I've been feeling it for awhile but it's time to put it out there. I have another passion project in mind that I'm so excited about, but I'm going to spend the rest of the month praying about if and how God wants me to move forward with it. In the meantime, stay tuned for adorable pics of my little guy! Praying you have a peaceful start to your new year!

I love playing with fun calligraphy styles for my Christmas cards every year. And this red envelope and white ink pairing is gorgeoussssss and just so festive! I struggled to find cards I liked this year - I guess I'm pretty old school when it comes to Christmas cards. I didn't want photo cards and I wanted a beautiful, modern looking card that focused on the true reason for Christmas - Jesus! Turns out that combination is pretty hard to find. I'm thinking next year I'll try to make my own! I'll just have to start in like, January so I'll have time to get them done! What about you? Do you send Christmas cards? Are you all for photo cards or are you old school like me?

Anyone else just LOVE shopping for gifts at Christmas time? I know some people don’t, but I definitely do! The feeling of finding the PERFECT gift is the best! Also, I typically buy things for others that I know I would like too, is that weird? And let me tell you, I would TOTALLY take any gift from ! It’s been awhile since I’ve shared here on IG, and that’s because we’ve been so busy snuggling with our sweet little guy! It’s hard to believe he’s already seven weeks old and growing like crazy! He started smiling at us this week and it is just the BEST! Being a mom is exhausting but so worth it. We love our little Cooper and are so thankful for these amazing photos captured by the incredible LuLuEdward Photography when he was just 2 weeks old! My how time flies! Be sure to swipe and see the sweetest little smile ever!

Can I tell you about my dear friend ? This is one of those friends where you can look back and see that God specifically planted in your life because He knew you needed each other. She is encouraging, she is hilarious, she is beautiful inside and out, and she loves Jesus (and Jamaica 🇯🇲) with all her heart. She has had a long journey, but recently graduated medical school and started her residency this week! I contacted to help me make an extra special gift for my extra special friend, and I'm in love with how these letterpress note cards turned out. Congrats to you Dr. Bolt, your patients are going to be SO lucky to meet you!
