Eclectic Box is focused on bringing stories to the stage that you won't find anywhere else. A 70-seat Theatre in the heart of The Mission.

Our goal is to showcase new sides of theater and introduce as many people as possible to the magic of live performances. Whether it's a reimagining of a classic movie, improv and sketch comedy, or original works you've got to see to believe, Eclectic Box is ready to present all of it. Live theater is a staple in San Francisco and we want to not only keep it going but bring it to another level. We'

After the holiday weekend, Eclectic Box is back at it this week with a full schedule of amazing programming! Opening Thursday is SF Youth Theatre's Andi Boi, a story about a trans kid navigating high school, and on Saturday, Drunk Theatre stumbles in for an unusual second Saturday show.
Second Saturday? It's like we're in the Twilight Zone! Oh, no, wait...that opens later this month.

SF Gate's Best of the Bay winners have been announced and Ecelctic Box is....not one of them. Womp, womp. As much as we would have loved to triumphantly sing "We are the Champions" while parading our award around town, we still feel immense gratitude and pride at being nominated and supported. Congratulations to Club Fugazi for their win(s) and thanks to everyone who voted for us!
The moral of this story is to show up for local businesses and theaters. We want to see all our fellow nominees flourishing, even if it means we'll have more competition next year.
