Every officiant has a first wedding… and this beautiful bride was mine. 🤍

I’ve been ordained since 2016, but I still remember this day like it was yesterday. I was nervous. My hands were shaking. I was terrified I’d mess something up.

But this incredible bride—a coworker mom friend and nurse I have the privilege of knowing—trusted me with one of the biggest moments of her life.

That trust changed everything.

I’ve always been obsessed with love stories and weddings, but standing there, pronouncing my very first couple married… something clicked.

Since then, I’ve had the honor of marrying couples from every walk of life, and every ceremony still reminds me why I started.

Today was her birthday. 🎂

So before heading to a family lunch, these two stopped for coffee, signed their marriage license, said “I do,” and became husband and wife. 💍☕
