My photography is my gift to his memory. I am a graduate in Agricultural Communications and Journalism at the great Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. I love taking pictures of people, animals, places, things.. It is
my goal as your photographer to provide you with a positive and fun expeirence! Getting your photos taken should be fun and exciting, not something to fear. I love people and making them happy. Let's make you one of them. We have this hope like an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19

Ryan and Ashley’s engagement session was such a sweet blend of their story and surroundings—from the rustic charm of the old mill in Lindsborg to golden hour out at Ryan’s pasture. We wrapped up the evening with an incredible sunset and a special appearance from Ryan’s horse (who totally stole the show for a minute 🐴☀️). Love when sessions feel this personal and meaningful.

From Tracy’s very first email, I knew I wanted to work with her. She was intentional, kind, and knew exactly what she was looking for in a photographer. She told me all about her and John’s story, and I was immediately excited to capture it.
They planned a simple, meaningful wedding: a quiet park ceremony near their home and a backyard celebration with family and friends. But life, as it sometimes does, had other plans.
Just days before the wedding, Tracy emailed me with heartbreaking news—John had been admitted to the hospital in intense pain, and the diagnosis meant he wouldn’t be leaving any time soon… not even for their wedding.
But Tracy is the kind of person who finds a way. And John? He wanted to marry her on 5.25.25. So they did.
Right there, on the 10th floor of KU Med, surrounded by loved ones, hospital staff, and more emotion than I can put into words, Tracy and John got married. In a hospital lobby turned sacred space, they exchanged vows full of love, strength, and grace. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room—including mine.
Tracy and John—thank you for letting me witness your love and your fight to hold onto joy in the midst of uncertainty. Your day was powerful and raw and unforgettable. And I’m so honored to have captured it.

All week long, the forecast loomed with the threat of rain. Kaitlyn and Jeremy checked it daily—so did I. But when Saturday arrived, the skies held back, as if they knew this day was meant to be something special.
Hidden Valley Downs was quiet and calm, with just enough breeze to make her veil dance and the wildflowers sway. Kaitlyn and Jeremy were steady, grounded, completely present with each other. No timeline stress, no distractions—just the joy of saying yes to forever.
Their day wasn’t about the weather or the details. It was about love, and they never lost sight of that for a second.
I’m so thankful I got to be the one to tell this story—through every quiet glance, joyful laugh, and heartfelt moment. These are the kinds of days I’ll never take for granted.

There’s something so grounding about these quiet moments before the rush of the day begins. 🥹 Melanie slipped into her blue heels with the softest smile—and it felt like time stood still just for her. The light, the lace, the anticipation… all of it was magic. ✨

Madelyn and Logan’s wedding at the Temple in Salina was such a beautiful reflection of who they are—elegant, joyful, and full of heart. The burgundy and light pink details brought such a romantic feel to the day, perfectly complementing the love these two share. From the sweet, meaningful moments during the ceremony to the laughter and celebration that carried through the night, every part of their day felt deeply personal and intentionally crafted. It was one of those weddings where you could feel the love in the room—and I’m so grateful I got to be the one to document it all.

Downtown Salina was showing off for Taylor’s maternity session—warm light, sweet moments, and the most beautiful mama-to-be. It’s always such an honor to capture this season of anticipation, especially with baby’s arrival just around the corner!
And a quick reminder—if you snagged a Slo-vember session last fall and haven’t booked it yet, now’s the perfect time to reach out! Warmer weather is here, the calendar is filling up, and I’d love to make sure we get your session scheduled before dates are all gone. Let’s make it happen!

Still smiling from yesterday—my very first wedding of 2025 and what a way to kick off the season! Brayden and Melanie’s day in Lyons was full of sunshine, love, and the sweetest details. Melanie made her own wildflower bouquets (yes, made them!) and looked absolutely stunning walking down the aisle with that big, beautiful smile. The whole day felt light, joyful, and just plain right—like the kind of wedding you walk away from feeling honored to witness. So thankful to start this season with a couple this kind, genuine, and head over heels for each other.

I am a graduate in Agricultural Communications and Journalism at the great Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. After graduation I moved to Salina, KS and have been there ever since.
I am blessed to get to work with college students through Christian Challenge Salina. I also get to make some amazing photos of all sorts of people. When I am not doing those things you can find me making something super yummy in the kitchen, trying to create something new, exploring the great outdoors or just hanging out with my dogs.
I want this blog to be a way to share a little bit about what is going on in my life and a way to connect with you! Thank you from stopping by!
