Serene Acres Riding Center Does your child dream of riding a pony? Well we have the place for them! We teach from beginner to advance.

Serene Acres is an established riding center in beautiful Round Hill, VA offering boarding, lessons, birthday parties, equine training and seasonal equestrian camps for children. Lessons are open to children from ages 5 and we also have adult lessons. Group, semi-private, or private lessons are available. 🐴Today wrapped up Summer Camps 2025 and WOW what an amazing summer 🐴

I met some amazing kids and so excited to hopefully continue to see them and watch them grow in this sport.

We swam with horses, we trail rode, we got soaked in ba****ck rain rides, we painted jumps, we played polo, we vaulted, we went cross country schooling, we tye-died, we learned so much horse management, we built friendships, we adored our amazing ponies/horses, we welcomed new ponies, said goodbye to the greatest pony, ate pizza, drank soda, we enjoyed ice cream, we enjoyed chick-fil-a, we laughed, we cried…the list goes on.

💕 Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving SARC an amazing summer. For allowing your rider to come be a part of our summer & allowing them to make memories they will cherish forever. I’m already looking forward to next year…but for now I sleep (well after a birthday party tomorrow and some lessons).

Thank you to our amazing ponies. We couldn’t do what we do without you, you are the true MVP’s ❤️

Some of the best ponies in the world. Trevor and Pippin staying cool under the fans until we take campers for a short trail ride. Shoshoni getting all the love and attention. Couldnt ask for better ponies.

🐴 2 more weeks of camp left. Advanced camp next week with a packed schedule and Aug 11th week being our last Horse Camp.

🐴 Space in the Aug 11th week, ages 4-15. All levels as we split into groups according to level for riding and horse management. r

Some pictures from our first week of camp. What an awesome week we had. Some storms here and there but the kids were awesome and the ponies AMAZING!! We couldn’t ask for better horses or ponies and they deserve the world.

On our second week of camp, which is a whole lotta water fun. Still getting in our horsey things but making sure kids stay cool with water activities and shade and ponies stay cool in their stalls with fans and frequently being sponged down.

We still have spots available in our other camp weeks!

Another stellar round from Alina & KT Origi, one of their best rounds together. An unfortunate miscommunication in the jump off kept them from ribboning but lessons learned and ready to come back tomorrow to crush it.

Great start to Loudoun Benefit. Alina & KT Origi ribboned in both their classes. 3rd in her .85 out of 52 riders and 7th in her .95 out of 37 riders. Some huge classes but her hard work truly paid off. Excited for the weekend!

🐴 Riders receive a riding lesson each day, 2 horse management/barn lessons and afternoons are fun time with horses: ba****ck, games, barrel racing etc.

Camps for all levels! Beginners or weekly riders.

Serene Acres is looking to hire a camp instructor/director. They must be available for every camp we have scheduled. The ideal candidate would have a pony club background. This candidate would be teaching camp riding lessons.

🐴 Must be 18yo or older
🐴 A pony club background or done some teaching
🐴 Good at delegating and organizing volunteers, other staff members and campers
🐴 $25 an hour pay

Must have references available and part of the interview will be teaching a part of one of my beginner lessons. PM me with any questions or if interested in this position.

So proud of these young riders this past weekend! We took on Beverly Jumper show and had a fantastic day.

🐴 Brooklyn & Landon took on their first jumper show and did amazing. They brought home two fantastic ribbons out of very large classes.

🐴 Annika & Sparo had their first show of the season, after remembering they had to wait for the buzzer (it’s ok we all do it), they had a fantastic show. All their hard work came to play and it was so amazing to watch. They brought home great ribbons including a 1st.

🐴Siena and Snow Day have become a real amazing pair together. They have been working very hard to build a solid relationship and it truly shows. She had some lovely rounds, a move from last show, and worked on even taking shorter approaches vs getting faster, they got the fastest time of the class but had an unfortunate rail (the very last jump 😞). Still bringing home amazing ribbons in some very full classes.

🐴 Alina & KT Origi had some beautiful rounds (once he got his antics out of being scared of the indoor, luckily the show was outside), bringing home great ribbons. Alina is working really hard to figure Ori out and it truly is showing. She’s put many hours of flat rides in these past few months, which has really been paying off in her course work. Excited to watch them move up at the next show!

Welcoming two new horses to SARC!

Link is a 7yo chestnut warmblood. He’s making a great addition to our lesson program. He will be available for lease May 1st.

Tulla a 4yo draft cross that Olivia will be bringing along as a trail riding horse and she will fill in gaps in the lesson program.

We are excited for these new additions.

Emma is one of Serene Acres scholarship recipients. Emma has grown an amazing bond with Landon and loves to be able to come weekly to groom and ride him. Emma would come every day if she could, she loves all things horses, well all things animals. Derby & Stella have become fan favorites of Emma. I’m super excited to share my passion of horses with Emma and allow some of her dreams to come true.
