Every generation of the Jessup family has been called to steward this university for the generation that follows. ✨

In 1939, William and Carrie Jessup opened classes for just 14 students to dedicate this institution to biblical education and preparation for Christian service. More than eight decades later, that firm foundation gives us the confidence to step boldly into our future.

As we prepare to inaugurate President Meghan Simpkins as our seventh president, we are embracing a renewed vision to expand access to Christ-centered higher education through innovation and meaningful partnerships.

As Rachael Gelsinger, chair of the Jessup University Board of Trustees, shares: "This inauguration is an opportunity to celebrate God's faithfulness to Jessup across generations and to look with tremendous expectation toward the future."

Today, Dr. Parnell Lovelace, Jr. blessed faculty, staff and students at Chapel as he closes his time of service at the University. We worshipped, enjoyed his sermon and celebrated with a appreciation celebration on campus!
