A 4.0 GPA at 76 years old. Patricia Bennet-Olhava just completely redefined what lifelong learning looks like! 👏🌟
For 35 years, her life followed a definite rhythm with the U.S. Postal Service. But life, as it tends to do, interrupted. A series of personal events and unanswered questions nudged her toward the field of psychology as a way to understand pain, healing, and people. Slowly, her curiosity became a calling.
Seeking an education that allowed her to integrate both faith and psychology, Patricia enrolled at Jessup. She didn't just earn her degree; she experienced a profound transformation. She tackled subjects she once avoided—ironically finding her strongest voice in English classes—and dug into complex research on how emotions and prayer affect brain activity.
Her story isn’t just about earning a 4.0 GPA at 76 years old. It’s about the difficult, beautiful work of change. She offers a subtle challenge to anyone convinced it’s too late to begin again, reminding us that sometimes the most compelling journeys are the ones where we circle back, push forward, and refuse to accept the status quo.
"Ask more questions. If you think there is more to be uncovered, keep pushing: God will give new insights."
