St. Catherine's Players

05/27/2026

Thank you to the Greenwich Free Press for allowing our voice to be heard. We appreciate the entire SCP and Greenwich community who have supported us through the years, especially this past week.

An open letter from the St. Catherine’s Players board & production team to the Parish of St. Catherine of Siena and St. Agnes describes the loss of their longtime home as disappointing and disheartening.
"St. Catherine’s Players was a ministry of the Parish of St. Catherine of Siena and St. Agnes and was a place where youth found confidence, where parents created alongside their children and where individuals of all abilities were welcomed not as outsiders, but as family. In a world increasingly marked by division and isolation, St. Catherine’s Players became sacred ground for belonging, creativity, friendship and healing." https://bit.ly/4nU6PCL

Thank you to Dr. Bencivengo - GPS educator, SCP mother, and community advocate - for this powerful letter on the impact of the Players.

Programs like SCP are far more than theatre; they're lifelines that foster confidence, compassion, creativity, and belonging. We're committed to embodying the spirit and togetherness that have defined us for 45 years, and to keeping this mission alive.

🌟meet the cast! As we gear up for weekend number 2, get to know Katie Cappiali (or K1, as she is known in the SCP family)! She has been part of the Players for four shows, and her kindness, positive attitude, and stage presence are appreciated by our cast and crew. Three more chances to see her and the cast of Godspell rock out this weekend!
