Last night we found perfect harmony between food, art, and most importantly w**e 🍷

We can’t stop talking about how wonderful Art Inside the Bottle: In Perfect Harmony was! We loved the curator lead tour around the African Gallery, the entertaining and knowledgeable w**e pairing, and of course the amazing food.

Thank you to Doreen Colondres with Vitis House for the expert knowledge of w**e you demonstrated.

Thank you Head Chef Matt of the NCMA Cafe for a wonderful multi course dinner, it was fantastic! We are looking forward to the Fall Cafe Menu next week!

From the museum galleries to the w**e glass, discover how individual elements come together to create something greater than the sum of their parts.

Inspired by the Museum's African collection, this immersive experience pairs five thoughtfully crafted dinner courses with five carefully selected w**es that celebrate the dialogue of African and American w**emaking. Through side-by-side comparisons of iconic grape varieties and w**e styles, we'll discover how acidity, fruit, tannin, texture, color, and composition work together to create elegance, expression, and harmony.
