A first look, framed like a work of art. 🍂

There is something undeniably romantic about an autumn wedding at the NCMA. Sculptural architecture, sweeping landscapes, rich seasonal color, and galleries filled with inspiration create a setting that feels both timeless and entirely your own.

As we step into fall wedding season, we’re dreaming of candlelit tables, golden-hour portraits, thoughtful details, and celebrations designed as beautifully as the art surrounding them.

For couples looking for a wedding venue that feels elevated, unexpected, and effortlessly iconic—the NC Museum of Art is a masterpiece all its own. ✨

We are obsessed with these photos from from Gina & Kyle's wedding.

Great Wines & Great Works of Art are Built on Balance 🍷

Join us on September 10th, at the NCMA for an evening exploring how artists and winemakers pursue harmony through contrast, texture, structure, and emotion. From the museum galleries to the wine glass, discover how individual elements come together to create something greater than the sum of their parts.

Inspired by the Museum’s African collection, this immersive experience pairs five thoughtfully crafted dinner courses with five carefully selected wines that celebrate the dialogue of African and American winemaking. Through side-by-side comparisons of iconic grape varieties and wine styles, we’ll discover how acidity, fruit, tannin, texture, color, and composition work together to create elegance, expression, and harmony.

Some moments become even more meaningful with time. 🤍

Seven years ago, Catering Works had the incredible honor of catering a fundraiser attended by the incomparable Dolly Parton.

Now, as the world mourns the loss of a true icon, we find ourselves looking back on that evening with even more gratitude. Dolly’s talent was legendary, but so were her kindness, generosity, and the joy she brought to so many.

We feel incredibly fortunate that, for one evening, our story crossed paths with hers.

Rest easy, Dolly. Your light will be missed, but never forgotten. ✨

🌿🍽️ Dinner and a show? Make it unforgettable.

Before Lala Tamar & Friends take the stage, join us at the NCMA Café for a special pre-concert dinner inspired by the vibrant flavors of West Africa and the Middle East. Our wonderful head chef has created a menu full of bold spices, fresh ingredients, and signature favorites that set the tone for an extraordinary evening.

Then, let the music transport you as Lala Tamar & Friends weave together sacred songs rooted in Jewish tradition with the rich musical languages of West Africa and the Middle East.

✨ Come hungry. Leave inspired.
