Here is the story of "Neighbors" I thought I would begin he story of where I come from. A seemingly unknown place where the only people you know are your niehgbors. Those that watched out for you, Those that told your mom what you were doing outside, the same one's that would give you water if you aksed properly. A time where we played until the street lights came on (Keep reading)

I began my culinary Journey at the age of 6 six wheere I was what they called in the 90's a latchkey kid. Often time no one was home but me, as I write this I 'm fighting back tears becuase there is a release. Alot of memories built me and there was alot of fight, alot of survival, alot of being smart and using my mind to move the earth. Food did that for me, it connecting me to people, people I like to call neighbors. If you read this far, Thank you for joining, it looks like we are meeting for the first time.

This is the story of Grit, intelligence, persistence, determination and alot of Dreaming. justin Wilson an old cajun man kind of influenced the connection on PBS. I'll you about the time the amount of work I put into just pancakes. my first food love. Hopefully as you follow me I 'll be able to ask you about yourself and hopefully you will share. because after all we are neighbors and we just be aqcuainted. Mom taught me not to talk to strangers you know 😉

What comes out of this is a truly unique style of Story telling where English and the art of writing is alwys challenge, not only that I'll share some of my most favorite recipes. You know they say you can tell alot about a person: of how they eat. Well I think you can also tell alot about a person who food is life.
