One of my favorite compliments after a wedding is when a guest asks:

“How long have you known them?”

Sometimes the answer is… only a few months.

That reaction doesn’t happen by accident.

Before I write a custom ceremony, I spend time getting to know the couple—their story, their personalities, what matters to them, what makes them laugh, and how they want the ceremony to feel.

There’s a questionnaire. There are conversations. And then there’s a lot of care that goes into turning all of that into something that sounds natural and genuinely belongs to them.

The goal isn’t for your ceremony to sound like something I wrote.

It’s for your family and friends to hear it and think, “Yep. That’s them.”
