Southern Thunder Fireworks come see us We are Larry and Tricia (Abbott) Brown, we are the new owners of Southern Thunder Fireworks, which has been in Larry's family for over 47 years.

Jim Sliger and Larry Brown (Larry's Dad) started in the fireworks business in Dunkirk, Indiana in 1977 on North Street. Over the years the business has had several different names, but for the past 30 years it has been Southern Thunder Fireworks. Formerly, owned and operated by Jim and Kathy Sliger. We will remain at the same location, 227 W. Water St., Portland, Indiana. In 2023, Jim passed away

leaving us to keep the family tradition alive. We look forward to serving you with all of your fireworks needs, small or large. We take great pride in offering our community the largest selection and the best deals on fireworks. We also look forward to serving our community by providing special events and sponsorships.

What an incredible Customer Appreciation Day at Southern Thunder Fireworks! 🇺🇸🎆

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Seeing so many smiling faces enjoying the bounce house, face painting, cotton candy, giveaways, clown fun, exotic birds, fire trucks, police cars and spending time with family and friends made the day truly special.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible and to all of our amazing customers who continue to support our family business year after year. We are blessed to be part of such a wonderful community.
