This has saddened me over the last couple of days more than most people can realize.

DJ Mike D has been an inspiration to me since the beginning of my DJ career with his unmatched remixes. I remember discovering his “Somebody I Used to Know” remix on YouTube and later connecting with him on Facebook. We used to chat back and forth (he had no idea who I was—just a fan) while he was living in Hawaii at the time.

Fast forward he moved to Cleveland and we eventually met up. I took some photos of him in 2018, and he showed me his home studio and how he put together his mixes so flawlessly.

You didn’t have to invite me over to take pictures, show me your studio, or take time out of your busy schedule.

I wish we would have seen each other again before this.

You will be missed by many and your remixes will continue to spin.

Rest in Peace.

What a great weekend!!! Friday I spun at Bar Louie and got some amazing people complimenting on my sets and said I should dj at some other places in the area because you’re really good.

New Year’s Eve is QUICKLY approaching and had to turn down probably my 5th NYE inquiry this year last night. I will be spinning at Bar Louie to bring in 2026!
