Thank you FAMU Homecoming-Palooza ‘26 team & the Set Dwellers for having me rock the 16th annual day party this year! Had a super blast! In & out of Tallahassee in 24 but left feeling rejuvenated. The return may very well happen next year. Please.Stay.Tuned.
Sidenote: This pic was captured only two hours into a six hour + (we went OT) party. It was jammed!

Take a gander at what came in my mail delivery today. “The Original Search Engine” 😂 Crazy to see a 2026 Yellow Pages but love the return to all things tangible. I’m here for it! Let your fingers do the walking…

How do content creators do this? 😩😂 Follow me (as I walk backwards & chew gum at the same time) at the annual Steeler’s Style fundraiser. I’ll stick to deejaying. 😂

If you need a copy Pittsburgh’s very own Silhouette’s LP “Conversations With The Silhouettes” used by Pete Rock for “Soul Brother #1” they have a super clean copy for a cool buck at Attic Records. I don’t need a third, so I’ll leave it here for someone else to grab. Can’t board them all:)

Honored to have rocked another laboratory raid train for the GREAT Grandmaster Flash to celebrate the release of his new book ‘Birth Of A Culture.’ Because I always strive to put on a PROGRUM, I took Flash’s playlist from Part 1 of the book (1957-1970) & rocked samples, flips & remixes from the respective selections in order, intersperse with a little visual help from my friends Claude Paradise Gray, Prime Minister Pete Nice, J. Sands, and my brother melun dank’s amazing re-creation of “The Adventures…” Had a blast! Thank you , FLASH, all in attendance & the whole team involved in such a monumentous throwdown.

Half-A-Century born-day shout to the great Eric Roberson Eric Roberson. Got to chop it up with him for a bit this past weekend at the Pittsburgh Intl Jazz Festival. Super humble cat that has quite the extensive catalog going back to 1994. Y’all remember “The Moon”, right? & fun fact….two Pittsburgh producers did a joint track on his release with Phonte Coleman ‘Tigallerro.” I’m talking about my brothers 𝗕 𝘂 𝘀 𝗰 𝗿 𝗮 𝘁 𝗲 𝘀 & Ian Wallace (Extra Medium). My 6-Hour tribute from yesterday’s edition of “Breakfast Jammies” is now up on the cloud of sound for your listening pleasure. Cheers to 50! 🙌🏼🙏🏻✊🏻

Pittsburgh Intl Jazz Festival w/ one of my favorite drummers on the planet N A T E S M I T H & one of my favorite people on the planet Ms. Joy Sato (still killing it at 88 years young!). Feels like yesterday that I rocked her surprise 80th shindig.

This medley right here! Mercy! Eric Roberson traversing through House Music classics (including his very own to set it off). Captured on the streets of Pittsburgh, PA this past weekend at Pittsburgh Intl Jazz Festival. A free music festival right outside of the AWAACC that continues to bring it year after year and I’m honored to continue to be a part of it since its inception. Super props to the curator Janis Burley and the entire team.

Coltrane 100! Happy (Heavenly) 100th John W. Coltrane. Can you believe we lost him in 1967 at a mere 40 years young?!? We did Five-Hours in his honor on the progrum today. Samples, covers, interpolations & the like from Jose James, Nicholas Payton w/ Butcher Brown, Lakecia Benjamin, & many others. How true is this statement donned upon my tee?

In the presence of ROYALTY!!! Ladies & Gents, the masterful Bernard “Pretty” Purdie Bernard "Pretty" Purdie. Still going strong at 87 years young. This was right before he rocked the 16th annual Pittsburgh Intl Jazz Festival this pass weekend on our lovely city of Pittsburgh, PA. Can we give the drummer some?!?
