Our best friend Ian

This whole thing started a year ago with one of us saying “we should book Boxplot for our first show.” That obviously didn’t happen that way, but it did directly set us on the path that brought us here.

When we finally were able to make it work, leading up to the show we’d always make the joke that Boxplot was gonna be our new best friend. Oh fu***ng boy did that joke turn into a reality. After many long ass conference calls and some moshpits at punk show we can safetly say, Boxplot is one of the closest connections we’ve made in this scene.

And most importantly, the boy can fu***ng cook. His set in January was the stuff of legends. Easily one of the best we’ve ever seen.

With an album coming out later this fall on Pilot. (we’ve heard it, it’s fire) do make sure you make it to his set October 9th opening for GRAFIX

IMANU has spent years reshaping what bass music can be. From drum & bass prodigy to one of electronic music’s most fearless innovators. His sets blend future breaks, heavy low-end, and melodic moments into something that feels brutally unique and deeply emotional.
Tomorrow night, he takes over Ground Floor.
