cosmetologist. She is known for creating long-lasting, flawless yet natural-looking complexions. She custom designs a look for each of her brides to enhance their natural beauty and capture their unique personal style. JKo Beauty provides a personalized experience that goes beyond beautiful makeup on your Big Day. Jennifer also offers customized makeup lessons for all occasions and ages. Lessons may be booked in-person or virtually. They are available 1:1 as well as for small or large groups.

I always say how I love my brides so much. Sounds funny but it’s the truth! It brings so much joy to my heart to help others feel beautiful and seen for their own unique beauty.🤍

It’s critical to me that my brides feel taken care of, for the process to be simple and easy while also catered to them.🤍

Makeup should be fun! I’ve been saying this for over 30 years and will never stop! It should be fun, uplifting and uniquely expressive.🤍

It’s true! Not every bride I work with LOVES makeup…but they all love feeling like an enhanced, elevated version of the themselves, in their own special way, on their wedding day.🤍

The truth is, I love it enough for ALL of us so it all works out perfectly.🩷

One of my favorite moments on a wedding day is handing my brides the mirror for them to see her final look.🤍

Fleur was no exception. I had the absolute pleasure of doing her makeup for her rehearsal dinner the previous day as well as had a blast with her at her preview appointment. As much as what she loved her preview (and so did I - she looked GORGEOUS) we made a few adjustments and even decided to do the lip look that was originally just to be for the rehearsal dinner. Everything came together flawlessly to compliment her natural beauty and personal style as well as her hair and beautiful dress.🩷

I knew from the start we’d have a great time working together - and then when she shared that her makeup inspo was 2000’s Monica Belluci, clean but sultry and natural…I was ECSTATIC. Naturally we had SO much fun together at her preview appointment and she and her beautiful group of ladies did not disappoint on her wedding day. It was such a perfect and fun day. Courteney of course was STUNNING and meticulously styled.💫

To prep her bridal makeup look, I spent extra time applying and massaging a variety of skincare products that worked perfectly with her skin for a fresh, hydrated look and feel. I chose long-wearing, lightweight makeup products and techniques while carefully blending the layers of makeup to achieve her desired lit-from-within natural glow. Her skin (and beautiful freckles) shined through!✨

DESIGN / VIBE / VISION “We were going for a “Garden Party by the Sea” theme, which felt very fitting for our Spring wedding in Cape May, NJ. I have always loved the color combination of pink and green florals, and was very inspired by the pink Lula Kate Lilly of the Valley print that I chose for my bridesmaid dresses. We carried this theme throughout the other details of the wedding.”

Since her skin is very oily and their wedding day was in July, I used various skin prep + makeup and techniques to help keep her oil in check while also achieving an overall fresh, radiant bridal makeup look to beautifully compliment her natural beauty.✨
