Located in the heart of Eastern Oregon, our beautifully restored 1916 Carnegie Library building is an architectural treasure in its own right. The Center caps one end of a downtown core that is regaining its

vitality and charm. Community members use the building for weddings, receptions, meetings and parties of all kind. The first Thursday of each month we hold an Opening Reception for new exhibits in the East Oregonian Gallery.

In love with mixing genres, Grabel has written and produced numerous spoken-word multimedia shows, including "The Lighter Side of Chronic Depression," "Anger: The Musical," and "The Little Poet." Her books include Lonesome & Very Quarrelsome Heroes, Flirtations, Brontosaurus, Badgirls, and Gold Shoes, a collection of graphic prose poems.
