📣 Want to Help Bring Ozawkie Events to Life?

Ozawkie R.I.S.E. has an open position on our Event Committee! 🎉

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being involved in the community and would like to help us plan and organize future events in Ozawkie.

As an Event Committee member, you can help with things like:

🎃 Planning community events and activities
💡 Bringing new ideas to the table
🤝 Helping coordinate volunteers, activities and event details
🎉 Pitching in during setup and event days
❤️ Helping create more opportunities for our community to come together

You do not have to live within the Ozawkie city limits, but you must live within the Ozawkie ZIP code area.

No event-planning experience is necessary — just a willingness to get involved, share ideas and help make things happen!

Think trick-or-treating, games, activities, and some Halloween fun for the kids right here in town. 🍬🎃

What a day! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 Ozawkie Heritage Festival possible and everyone who came out to enjoy it with us!

❤️ Our volunteers: Laci and her family, Heather, Wiley and her friend, Norah, Ryan, Justin, Tina, and Mazi — thank you for giving your time and jumping in wherever we needed you. We truly couldn’t have done it without you!

🎶 Gary and Moe — thank you for donating your time and keeping us entertained throughout the day!

🚂 Julie — thank you for the time and effort you put into our local history presentation and for sharing a piece of Ozawkie’s history with us!

🎸 The Branson family — thank you for your incredibly generous donation that helped make our live music possible!

🍿 Rock Creek Church — thank you for providing the bounce house and free popcorn and cotton candy for everyone to enjoy!

🎵 Cleveland Blue — thank you for closing out our festival with some great live music in the park!

And thank you to all of our vendors, food vendors, activity providers, donors, and everyone else who contributed to the day.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out! Seeing kids playing, neighbors visiting, people participating in activities, learning about Ozawkie’s history, and simply enjoying our community together is what the Heritage Festival was all about.

The kids’ water fight is underway, and there’s still plenty more happening this afternoon at the Ozawkie Heritage Festival!
