Bentonville, we’re doing dinner a little differently on November 5th.

Six tables. One private airplane hangar. And a room intentionally filled with music lovers, business owners, entrepreneurs and people who are curious about who they might meet next.

Your seat includes a four-course dinner from Chef Jeremy Putts, paired cocktails, stories from the chef, Chancey Williams and our partners, an intimate performance, and a piece of art created by an NWA artist to take home.

But my favorite part is the part we can’t put on an itinerary.

It’s who ends up sitting across from you.

The conversation you didn’t expect to have.

The story someone tells that sticks with you.

The person you’re still texting six months later.

The funny thing about building The Listening-Table is realizing I wasn’t really building it for “foodies” or even just music fans.

I was building it for people who are curious.

The ones who will take the back road, order something they’ve never tried, ask the person across the table a real question, and stay a little longer when the music starts.

They collect experiences. They collect stories. And somewhere along the way, they tend to collect people too.

Those are the people I want around this table.

Somewhere along the way, I realized my favorite part of Americana music wasn’t only the music.

It was the people it kept putting in my life.

The ones who will take the long way, try the local spot, stay for one more song, and somehow leave a show with three new friends.

Those are the people I want around our tables.

The Listening-Table is my excuse to keep finding more of them.

The signage. The merch. The branded pieces. The vehicle wraps. The stuff you notice without thinking about who made it.

I think one of the best things that happens as you get older is you stop trying to fit into every room.

You start looking for your room.

The people who are curious. Who still want to go places and do things. Who care about the story behind the song and the person sitting across from them. Who aren’t done making new friends just because they’re grown.

Finding your people matters.

And sometimes you find them in places you didn’t expect, sitting next to someone you didn’t know an hour ago.

That’s a big part of why we’re building The Listening-Table.

Not just to put on beautiful dinners.

To keep creating places where our people can find each other.
