After 8 LONG months of growing, the incredible lisianthus have begun to bloom - and there are very few flowers that can match its frilly beauty OR its long vase life! And sharing center stage: the first beautiful dahlia blooms of the season will be making their debut. Paired with airy, aromatic foliage and a supporting cast of quaint, cottage garden inspired blooms, these bouquets bring the magic to everyday or any occasion! I had the honor of creating florals for a beautiful wedding this past weekend - but do you want to know the best part? The beautiful bride donated the flowers post-ceremony so that I could rearrange them into loads of smaller arrangements for gifting to our local Hospice patients. Being a sustainability-focused flower farmer, this speaks directly to my heart and sensibilities; I love knowing that after contributing such beauty to a very special day, my blooms can be reimagined to deliver that same beauty - along with comfort, support, and peace to some of those who need it most. On behalf of my small farm - and all the local hearts you’ve touched through this thoughtful act - thank you, Megan, for being such a kind and generous soul… and thank you for understanding the power and language of flowers, and for giving them the chance to speak to others. Theirs is the language of the heart, and they have the most beautiful way to say what we cannot… 💕

I have a beautiful wedding to flower this weekend, but the ceremony is on Sunday, and so I’ve decided to attend the market this Saturday (8/2) since I wasn’t able to be there last weekend, and am unable to be there next weekend (8/9). It means that I’ll have some INSANELY busy days ahead of me - but I’ve got to power through and make sure my favorite fellow flower-lovers are able to indulge in a little petal therapy in the interim! Please stop by the Mountain Fresh Farmers Markets, Oakland, Maryland this Saturday, 8/2, from 10am-1pm (or until sold out) to say hello and grab a beautiful fistful of Summer… and if I look tired and a bit disheveled, please forgive me - and remind me that I can spend next Monday napping! 😳❤️🌼🥱

The first of my beautiful twin nieces will soon be walking down the aisle - but first, friends and family gathered ‘round to celebrate her during a special bridal brunch. I couldn’t help but mark the occasion with something equally as special - and so, using the soft, romantic color palette for her wedding, I began gathering and drying select flowers some time ago to cluster around her ‘Save the Date’ announcement and wedding invitation, tucked safely inside a wooden and glass shadow box. What a beautiful and deeply personal gift, handcrafted with much love; one I hope she’ll always treasure. ❤️

Some of my best conversations take place in the garden. I talk to God… to my son… to the flowers… to the bees… and in this case, to one of the newest (and cutest) members of the Wildlings pest management team! Please note that, due to other obligations/bookings (it is Summer wedding season, after all!💕), I won’t be able to attend the market on 7/26 or 8/2 - but should you need beautiful, sustainably-grown fresh cut flowers during that time, don’t hesitate to reach out; I always welcome custom orders!

Have a soft spot for peonies, but yours stopped blooming weeks ago? Wildlings to the rescue… I’ve pulled my remaining stock from the floral cooler for their final beautiful performance of the 2025 season, and will have them bundled with many other garden beauties this Saturday, July 5th, from 10am-1pm (or until sold out) at the Mountain Fresh Farmers Markets, Oakland, Maryland. Stop by to say hello, and grab one of our lush, signature garden style peony bouquets before they’re gone for the season! I may also have some straight peony bunches available, if you’d like to pair them with beautiful bits from your own garden this holiday weekend! Stop by the ‘Sip & Shop’ event at Caddyshack Bar & Grill today (Tuesday, June 24th) from 5:30-8:30pm to enjoy some great food and drinks, and browse the unique items available from some special local vendors. We’ll be there with our signature lush, garden-style bouquets filled to the brim with beautiful blooms - and we’ll also have our ever-popular WildWick botanical candles available; each one hand-poured using eco-friendly soy or coconut-apricot wax, and boasting incredible seasonal scents. Upcoming Wildlings Whereabouts: Looking to treat yourself – or share the joy of a beautiful, sustainably-grown fresh cut flower bouquet featuring the season’s finest blooms? We’ll have plenty available over the next week – and are thrilled to be participating in not one but two local events! First, we’ll be set up in the streets of downtown Oakland, MD this Saturday, 6/21, from 11am – 4pm at the annual ‘Kick Off to Summer’ event, where we’ll be offering our signature garden-style wrapped market bouquets. If you’re not able to catch us on Saturday, we’re giving you a second chance to grab a lush seasonal bouquet – or some of our beautiful handcrafted and eco-friendly soy and coconut-apricot wax products at the Caddyshack Bar & Grill ‘Ladies Night Sip N Shop’ event next Tuesday, 6/24, from 5:30pm-8:30pm. The peonies just keep coming - and I, for one, couldn’t be happier about it! And this week, the queens of the late Spring garden are being joined by the first fragrant blossoms of phlox, beautiful spikes of veronica, a few whimsical foxgloves, and more! These beautiful bits from the garden are artfully combined to create some swoon-worthy cottage garden inspired bouquets.
