Today we conducted a thermal drone search in Purgitsville, WV near Huffman Rd & Mountain View Road for a missing dog named Stormy.

Despite flying several hours and covering over 37 miles, we were unfortunately unable to locate her. During the search we spotted over 100 animals — deer, turkeys, foxes, raccoons, cats, and other dogs — but no sign of Stormy.

Posts like this are the hardest. Not being able to bring answers back to a family weighs on you. But we’re not giving up hope.

Stormy is deeply missed, especially by her little boy — she’s more than just a pet, she’s his best friend.

There is a cash reward being offered for her safe return.

If you are in the area, please keep your eyes open and check any outbuildings, porches, or wooded edges.
