In NYC this is the viral trend going around for dating. Singles are tired of the dating apps so they are now looking towards this dating event called Pitch and Pair where friends pitch their singles friends IRL to a crowd of singles.

In this pitch Chris was being pitched by long time friend Ben. And now Chris has been dating the girl who asked him to sing for over 5 months now and counting! I would say Chris owes Ben a favor now.

🎤 Pitch and Pair is back at Sony Hall on Friday July 31st!

Last time, over 400 people joined us for a night of laughter, connection, and unforgettable pitches. We’re bringing it back for another huge night in NYC.

So how does it work?

Friends pitch their single friends to a crowd of strangers using a short slideshow presentation. Think part comedy show, part social event, part dating experiment.

Some pitches are hilarious. Some are heartfelt. All are entertaining.

Common questions:

❤️ Do I need to be single?
No. Plenty of people come just to watch, support a friend, or enjoy the show.

👀 Do I need to pitch someone?
No. Most attendees are in the audience.

🎉 Can I come with friends?
Absolutely. Many people come with a group, while others come solo.

🤝 Is there time to meet people?
Yes. There is mingling before and after the show.
