We’re rarely on this side of the camera, so I wanted to share this moment from a recent bar mitzvah. (And yes—the graffiti wall was a custom photo booth backdrop, complete with the guest of honor’s own tag.)

This team is everything to me. Most of us have been together for nearly 10 years, growing side by side and creating celebrations filled with joy, beauty, and meaning.

From Manhattan to Malibu—Richard’s Bar Mitzvah was a true bicoastal celebration 🌴🗽
When the Kaplans asked us to design a New York/Los Angeles–inspired Bar Mitzvah through the lens of skate and surf culture, we knew this would be something special. They are a bicoastal family, and as a bicoastal planner myself, it felt like destiny.
Hosted at SECOND, we leaned into the raw aesthetic of the space, layering in custom graffiti walls, a cinematic video montage of skate and surf footage, and a gold tinsel ceiling over the dance floor.
After cocktails, rawbar, and games, Richard made his entrance straight into a live breakdance battle—NY vs. LA—featuring legends Notorious B.I.G. and Dr. Dre, instantly igniting the party.
The food told its own bicoastal story:
NYC pizza, LA-style taqueria, and elevated steakhouse favorites.
The custom NY/LA logo—clean, iconic, and devoid of traditional mitzvah cues—became a statement across coveted swag, Supreme and Stüssy hoodies, custom skateboard decks, and more.
A standout interactive moment: guests signed a custom skateboard deck, transforming it into a lasting piece of art.
Surrounded by his friends and family from both coasts, the party was an electric mix of New York edge and California ease.

Part Two of our 2025 rewind of this quintessential New York City wedding—elegant, refined, and effortlessly welcoming.
Maggie & Callaghan exchanged vows in a timeless church ceremony before celebrating at the Racquet & Tennis Club on Park Avenue, where letterpress invitations, crest-adorned details, glowing candlelight, and brass chandeliers set the stage for an unforgettable evening. Guests spilled onto the Park Avenue terrace as city lights twinkled, laughter and champagne flowing late into the night. And just like every perfect Manhattan love story, the weekend ended with a yellow checker cab waiting at the curb.

There’s a beautiful tradition to pause tonight, write down the miracles you’re asking Hashem for in the year ahead, and truly believe they’re possible. The big ones, the quiet ones, the deeply personal ones.

May this light bring clarity, healing, strength, joy, and blessings we didn’t even know to ask for.
May what feels heavy be lifted, and what feels uncertain be met with faith.

Have you ever been to Doubles at Christmas? ✨ Guests floated down those legendary stairs straight into a night of dancing, celebration and love for this beautiful couple. With thousands of ornaments overhead and that unmistakable vintage New York glow, it felt like bottling everything magical about the city this time of year in one unforgettable night.

Celebrating one year since Josie’s celestial bat mitzvah — the night that balanced elegance and high-energy fun perfectly. ✨
A gorgeous sit-down dinner for the adults, and behind the sliding doors… a teen party universe with starry lights, a 3-D immersive photo booth, a violet lounge, branded games, bubble tea, and those amazing Josie-phora gift bags.
When her mom texted me this week that it “still goes down as the best party ever,” I knew we had to rewind. 💫

When Dahlia told us she loved macarons, pink flowers, Diptyque candles, and Swedish candy, we knew her Bat Mitzvah needed to feel personal in every detail. ✨💗

We turned to for a rose-and-raspberry macaron tower as the centerpiece of her candle-lighting table, designed custom Dahlia candles inspired by her favorite Diptyque scents and presented them on the sweetest striped cart, and sent guests home with her beloved BonBon treats.

Her photoshoot in Tribeca set the tone, and the Edison Ballroom — a historic former supper club in the Theater District — became a pink dream. Her immersive photo booth featured a floral crest pulled from her Bella Figura invitations, complete with a custom bench for the perfect shot. And of course, her swag: elevated, chic, and discreetly branded.

It’s always the details that tell the story.

We need to take a step back and really admire these details.
This room transformation for Dahlia’s Bat Mitzvah was pure magic — layers of pink, soft draping, florals, and light all coming together to create the princesscore moment she dreamed of.
She came to us wanting a pink fairytale, and we brought that vision to life with so much love.
