TGIF!!! Reminder that from 11-1 tomorrow, downtown Nashua is your coloring book!

Great American Downtown has local artists creating chalk outlines on the sidewalks of Main Street for creatives of all ages to come down and color in! They'll provide the chalk; you provide the imagination and the artistry!

A fun family day downtown; be sure to come by!

🎃👻Need a Halloween costume for yourself or a trick or treater in your life? From 9 am - noon tomorrow, stop by Nashua Public Library at 2 Court Street for the annual SCARE costume giveaway!

New and gently-used costumes ranging from infants through adults XXL will be available. Donations of costumes to S.C.A.R.E are also accepted at this time.

About S.C.A.R.E (Secondhand Costume Annual Redistribution Effort):
For 10 years, S.C.A.R.E has been on a mission to collect & distribute free costumes to families in need all over the state of NH. Visit their website at scarenh.org to learn more and find additional distribution sites.

What a wonderful endeavor! Everyone should have the opportunity for Halloween fun. Stop by and either drop off or leave with some spooky costumes! 🎃👻

Do you have an ax to grind? How about throwing it instead? And then singing a jaunty tune?

From 6:30-9:30 pm every Thursday is karaoke night at Axel's Throw House at 4 Bud Way, Unit 2. They have music, food and adult beverages. And if you've never tried axe-throwing, you should go check it out!

Despite the pumpkin spice and Halloween decorations, as you can see by today’s temperatures, summer still has a few arrows in the quiver. If you’d like some delicious food and a beautiful flower-encircled patio for some end of season outdoor dining, we recommend The Spice Restaurant & Bar at the former Simoneau Plaza (what are the kids calling it these days? It’s 300 Main St.).

Every single staff member we met was friendly and had suggestions. From the hostess to the bartender to the kitchen staff to our server Asia to the owner, everyone was invested in our satisfaction. Big recommendation!

🎃Another October weekend event to put on your family-fun calendar! 🥳

At 11 am Saturday, Oct. 11, Great American Downtown invites you to get creative downtown and join in on their Coloring Main Street event!

All are welcome to participate, from kids to adults, young and young-at-heart. Come transform the sidewalks into a giant, life-size coloring book! Local artists will set up potential chalkers with outline murals on and around Main Street, from the Main Street Bridge, to the Nashua Public Library, to City Hall.

Chalk will be provided by local Main Street businesses and Great American Downtown, so all you need to bring is your creativity and enthusiasm.

Yes, we are rolling out ALL the great Halloween options right away on October first, so busy parents and caretakers can plan the plethora of spooky fun ahead of time! Let's maximize the fun this month!

Great American Downtown is presenting Main St. Monster Mash from 11 am - 1 pm Saturday, Oct. 25, and there is LOTS to do at that! Here's a synopsis:

🎃 costume contests for kids AND pets
🎃 live spooky surprise performance by The Actorsingers
🎃 Pearl Streets Howl-o-ween Puppy Parade (11:30 am)
🎃 Noon will be a special surprise!
