Last week to register for 57th Annual Dora Invitational

It’s the time of year the 57th Annual Dora Invitational is scheduled for October 11th and 12th. Wyatt Smith is defending champ and looking forward to having out a great array of golfers! We have added a Hickory Club Division this year as well! $175 for the event. We will have a Championship Division, Net Division (must have active handicap), Senior Division 50 and over (must have handicap) and Super Senior Division 70 and over (must have handicap) along with a championship and net division in the Hickory. Please see flyer for emails to sign up. You can drop by pro shop to sign up as well and pay fees. Please make sure to specify which division you are playing in and handicap. First tee times will be 8 am on the 11th starting with Championship division and in reverse order in the 12th. Please don’t hesitate to call or email with any questions.

Mount Dora Golf Club is proud to be host course for the 2025 MDHS Hurricane Boosters Fall Golf Tournament Saturday November 8th at 8:00 am. Early Bird price break if register by October 8th. Please look at flyers for sign up and sponsorship info.

July 4th is this Friday and hope everyone has a day of boating, bbqing and fireworks planned. If you looking to get a little pre celebration golf in reminder Mount Dora Golf Club is closing early so our employees can enjoy the Independence Day holiday as well. So we are taking tee times up until 11 am on Friday July 4th. We will be closing up pro shop at 12:30. So get out early before heading out to the festivities.

US Open Week and no better way to celebrate than to get your first hole in one!! Ron Malmberg got his first hole in one on hole 3 with a 5 iron. Bar patrons appreciated it immensely!! Congrats Ron and see you back soon…Go Dodgers!! ⛳️ ⛳️

Summer Twilight special is back! 9 holes with cart two bottles of water and sleeve of balls (while supplies last) all for 20 dollars plus tax. This special runs everyday 1pm until 6pm and you must mention the special in order to receive it in pro shop. Good way to save a few bucks and work on your game.

This past Sunday we hosted the Mayday Payday two man scramble. We saw some really good golf and serious golfers and full field of 30 teams. No mulligans, no string, just golf. Congratulations to Wyatt Smith and Donald Vintilla who shot a 57 to win it. Second was a 58 and third 59 so really great competition. Looking forward to hosting the next one.

This Sunday May 11 for Mother’s Day all Moms play for free. So Moms grab the family or leave them at home and grab another Mom and come out play for free. Just mention this FB post when you check in. Enjoy your day!
