🌿 A Little Bushfield History for our friends and followers 💕

When George Washington passed away, his beloved estate, Mount Vernon, was inherited by his nephew, Bushrod Washington — the son of John Augustine Washington, who lived right here at Bushfield. 🏠

Bushrod carried on the Washington family legacy, serving as a U.S. Supreme Court Justice, and was later laid to rest at Mount Vernon. This special story is just one of the many ways Bushfield is closely tied to America’s history. 🇺🇸
