The NFR finals have concluded, and world champions have been announced and awarded. Despite the cold and snowy weather here in Mitchell, South Dakota, we were able to enjoy the 10th and final round. The NFR viewing party at the Moose Lodge was a huge success, with a great turnout. Attendees enjoyed food, fun, and exciting raffles featuring PRCA swag, rifles, and more.

Special thanks to our committee members who managed the tables and mics, the PRCA, the staff of Moose Lodge #875, and all the rodeo fans who attended. Don't forget, the greatest show on dirt returns to Stampede Park in seven months, from July 16th to 19th…….

Just to think in seven short months we will be at the rodeo again putting on the greatest show on dirt, but until then a little reflection especially this time of year just we are so thankful and blessed for all our Rodeo fans, sponsors, volunteers, our great wrangler group and our committee!

Without God‘s great gifts that he bestows upon us no matter what time of year we are humbly grateful. As our holiday season approaches, we want to remember that Jesus is the reason for the season….

Well, it’s pretty apparent if you look outside your window, it definitely is not the third week in July here in Mitchell South Dakota!

Even though there’s no chutes and calves, bulls and buckles, we are always driving and working on making sure this next year‘s Rodeo is even better than last year‘s.

We sent a couple of our committee members to the PRCA convention which coincides with the NFR in Las Vegas. Seems so peaceful out at the real grounds with a new coat of snow on everything….. enjoy!

Before our rodeo officially starts every year, we peruse the businesses and people in the community in an around Mitchell that have in the past purchased promo tickets.

Going back into the 80s or 90s we were made aware of this tool to get our name out in the Rodeo community. Let our local businesses get their name out in the community as well as taking care of their employees, special customers, and nowadays promoting on social media.
