It’s still HOT outside and hard to think about Christmas… but I design Christmas installs, so I have to. 🎄

Design plans start going out in September! PSA: you don’t always have to use red & green. It took some convincing on this one and now the client is thrilled we went with this palette!

The August temperatures have me reminiscing about my “garden party” birthday two summers ago.

It was hotter than a witch’s tit. Honestly, none of us wanted to be outside, but somehow it still turned into one of my favorite memories.

The flowers, the greenhouse backdrop, the table—everything was exactly how I envisioned it. But here’s your reminder when you see all those “perfect events” on social media: there is ALWAYS something happening behind the scenes that isn’t picture perfect.

The stress. The weather. The last-minute changes. The things that don’t go according to plan. Life happening outside the frame.

And that’s exactly why we do what we do at Sarah Overall Events.

Please keep praying for this child and her healing!

The City of Minden is asking our community to join our neighbors in Ruston, LA, in lifting up sweet Lillian Smart.

Lillian is critically ill with an incredibly rare parasitic amoeba, and the next 48–72 hours are critical.

Our community knows how to rally around children, and we know how to pray for miracles. Please pray for the medications to work, for complete healing with little to no neurological damage, and for strength for Lillian and her entire family.

If prayer isn’t your practice, we ask that you simply take a moment of silence in honor of sweet Lillian and send love, hope and strength toward her family.

Minden and Webster Parish, let’s stand with Ruston, LA, and cover this little girl and her family in every bit of love and support we have. 🩷

Cheers to year FOUR of the Witches Ride of Minden… and we’re still going strong!

Every year, some folks take the name a little too literally. Bless their hearts. Meanwhile, our ride keeps getting bigger, our planning committee has doubled in size, and our impact on the community continues to grow.

The criticism? Well, it’s been some of our best free advertising. Keep talking…we’ll keep waving & smiling as we parade down the brick streets, raising money, and supporting our community.
