🌟 **What a Productive and Amazing Year!** 🌟

As we reflect on this past year, our hearts are full of gratitude. With an incredible team of new volunteers, wonderful community partners, and the generous support of grant funding — **so much good was accomplished together.** 💛

✨ **Here’s a look at what we achieved as a community:**

* Countless relief supplies distributed — including heaters, generators, basic necessities, and clean water.
* Over **five fire departments** fed during the March wildfires.
* Through our **Storm Repair Assistance Program**, we helped **79 households** recover and rebuild.
* In our **Caring Cupboard Food Pantry** (July–Dec), people were served **1,183 times**, supporting **483 families.**
* Our **monthly food distributions** provided over **1,200 food boxes** to those in need.
* **Hot Meal Thursdays** served more than **2,000 meals** with warmth and kindness.
* Our **Thanksgiving Feast** brought together over **300 people** for a day of gratitude and community.
* During **Veterans Appreciation**, **22 Veterans and their spouses** were honored for their service.
* Our **Annual Christmas House** welcomed the **largest and most diverse crowd** we’ve ever had!
* We wrapped up the year completing **5 home repair projects** through our new **Home Repair Assistance Program** and even gifted a **camper** to someone in need — generously donated by a caring supporter.

As we step into a new year, projects are already lined up, and our hearts are hopeful for what’s ahead.

💪 **We may be small — but we are mighty!**
Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and partner who made this year one to remember. Together, we’re building a stronger, kinder community. ❤️

Storm repair Update #2

Making a Difference Together
Over the past two months, thanks to the continued financial support of the Polk County Community Foundation, we have been able to help 47 households across Polk County. Partnering with Polk Referral Center to address needs throughout Polk County, together, we’ve made a real difference in people’s lives:

💧 Clean Water: We repaired wells for two families, restoring access to clean drinking water, and we’ve committed to drilling a brand-new well to help a displaced family move into their own home.
🔥 Warmth for Winter: We provided 34 heaters to households without primary heat, ensuring families can stay warm and safe this season.
🏠 Restoration and Stability:
Purchased a shipping container to store essential supplies for future recovery efforts.
Purchased camping supplies and winter boots, thermals and sweat shirts for a displaced resident who lost their temporary housing now living in a tent.

Completed three major driveway repairs, helping families regain safe access to their homes.

Supplied two generators
-one to a family transitioning into a camper
-one to a grandmother and granddaughter living in a camper whose generator stopped working

Assisted with grading and leveling for a camper being used by a family while their damaged home is demolished and rebuilt.
Repaired a property fence ensuring safety for kids to play safely in their front yard.

Removal of 13 trees endangering a home and driveway, along with removal of a tree that had crushed a barn ensuring a safe environment for a resident.

And most touchingly, completed the grading, placement, and full setup of a camper for a senior citizen—allowing her to finally move out of her tent and into a warm, powered home of her own.

đź’– None of this would have been possible without the kindness, compassion, and continued support of PCCF. Every act of giving has brought comfort, stability, and hope to our neighbors in need. Several more projects have been scheduled throughout the next few months funded by this support.
